Sunday Night at the Races

When you've already had lunch, played a game of Clue, taken a walk, and had dinner and it's still not time for bed . . . what do you do? Well, here at our house we had some races. There are over 100 Hot Wheels & Matchbox cars in our home. We decided to find the fastest. Not all of the cars were located, and there's only so much time in a day, so we only raced about 65 of them. We were very scientific, racing each car on each track. Lauren's favorite was definitely Daphne, who came in 3rd place. A police car came in 2nd, and the winner was . . . "Flame Proof", a Hot Wheels car we lovingly called "White Racer" for the evening. What a night!

the police car passing Daphne . . . very sad for Lauren

You are so creative at your house. What a fun afternoon! We'll have to bring our cars over and race your cars and see who's faster! :)w

Sunday afternoons can be tricky. We'll have to try this sometime. Luke and Jake like to name their cars with jazzy sounding names too.
