Last month they had a 6th grade dance for Valentine's Day. I got to go serve the refreshments (and spy on Logan). He was dreading it, but in his own words, "It wasn't as bad as I thought". He even smiled a few times, and it was really fun for me to watch. I was a little wary about the whole thing, but it was handled so well. That morning they lined up all the girls on one side of the room, and all the boys on another. They each had a dance card, and had to fill them. The boys had a turn to ask the girls, then the girls asked the boys, and back and forth until the cards were full. They weren't allowed to ask the same person twice, and they had to say yes when someone asked them. For a few months leading up to the dance they had a couple come in and teach them all how to dance. So, Logan tolerated it and I LOVED IT! Sorry the pictures aren't great, they're from the cell phone. I didn't take a camera because I thought Logan would be mortified by his mother taking his picture, but it turns out 15 mothers were taking pictures, so I pulled out the cell phone.
This girl was tall, but they really looked like they were having fun, laughing and smiling, etc.
Here he is doing the Macarena.
Here he is with another girl, she was really cute. It was funny to watch Logan's face, he made it SO obvious which girls were okay and which were NOT his favorite.
